Versatile and boundary-pushing,Salya Berraf is a French artist whose work bridges contemporary dance, theater, live music, and circus arts. A graduate of the Academy of Theatre and Dance in Amsterdam (Expanded Contemporary Dance, 2023) and the Paris Conservatory, she weaves influences from contemporary, classical ballet, Gaga and acting into a hybrid physical language.
Deeply collaborative,Salya has performed with companies such as Blanca Li, Nicole Beutler Projects, LeineRoebana, Julien Grosvalet, Thar Be Dragon or even HollandOpera. Her current projects include the opera Tosca (2021–2025), the theater piece Le Gorille ou l’impossibilité d’être humain (2025), her solo A Flash of Light... by Sancha Meca Castro.
Beyond the stage,she co-founded the experimental music collective LAST SALT in 2024, where she explores voice, improvisation, and the body–sound relationship. Her artistic vision is rooted in fluidity and cross-disciplinary dialogue, continuously seeking new forms of expression through encounter and experimentation.
